Created to be a sacred space of meditation and prayer, the Garden of Burt and Mary will be the first to be developed at the Column Center location. Through the generous donations and support of many who grasp the vision to make this a reality, there will be a total transformation with the planting of many flowers, bushes, trees and pathways, creating contemplative spaces, a meditation garden, outdoor classrooms, a ceremonial fire pit, and an arbor and bridge to the outdoor sanctuary with alter. Open to the community, this "Natural Center" will be a refuge of peace and serenity. The grounds will be decorated with trees, flora, stone benches, statues, brick and stone pathways and a pond. A welcoming place to honor those in spirit and rejoice in mystical learning, the Garden of Burt and Mary will be touched by the loving hands of volunteers who build her and wish to rejoice, being present in her elements, while bridging relationships with others of a common goal.
Fundraising is underway for land purchase and our first brick pathway to the creek. Land Fund Goal: Raise $4000.00 by May 1st 20% of all Course fees go toward the land fund. You'll receive honorable mention on Donor Wall in main entrance.

The Column Center will be an ideal setting of scholastic and spiritual expansion. Several meditative spots and a Labyrinth will be available to the public and can be used for outdoor classes and gatherings. The "Garden of Burt and Mary" will be available for weddings and intimate events. The "Inspirational Pathway" is reserved for walks in contemplation of honoring our loved ones who have gone home before us. Within this garden will be bricks where, for a small donation, you can have the opportunity to permanently commemorate your family, loved ones, or pets.

The facility will have two buildings, a community center which would accommodate large events and gatherings and also contain small classrooms, and an additional building comprised of meditation rooms.  Inside the main entrance of the community building will be a "Donor Wall" where for various donation amounts, you can prominently display your name as a Column Center Benefactor. Sales of the pathway bricks and donor wall names will defray the construction costs of the structure and the gardens as well as equipment and furnishings for the new Column Center facility.
